Since 1997 Duh-Events has been organising a variety of gaming events. With the name GameParty, we started as a group of enthusiastic volunteers who landed out professional network equipment for free to more than 50 Lan Parties in the Benelux. In 2001 a few of the volunteers started to use their knowledge and experience to organise their own gaming events. Two of these events are now bigger than ever before: CampZone (since 2001) and The-Party (since 2003).
These days The-Party is one of the largest gaming events within the Benelux, popular with esports organisations, live stream communities and PC gamers. Due to the unique character of CampZone, in the form of an outdoor gaming vacation on a camping, this event receives national and international media attention.
CampZone is the biggest gaming vacation of Europe, active yearly since 2001. Currently, the event is being organised in Veghel and is an event for both young and older gamers. During this gaming event you can enjoy the best vacation ever for 11 days! Camping outdoors combined with the best games ensures that this will be an unforgettable experience every year.
During CampZone there is an impressive program ready for you and there are multiple amazing prizes to be won every day. Besides a variety of gaming tournaments (both from your computer and centrally together with each other) there will be a variety of outdoor sportsactivities, live acts, party nights, a big bingo and multiple quiz nights. Although our main focus is on the everyday gamer, we still have something for every type of gamer. We have something for people who like tech, including 3D printers, LED lighting and lasercutters that can be used in our Hack Zone, a variety of streamers and indie developers that will come to the event and there’s plenty to do for Cosplayers.
Since 2003 we have been able to enjoy The-Party every year, one of the biggest gaming events within the Benelux. With multiple esports tournaments, including prize money, an incredibly fast network and a unique atmosphere, The-Party is an event you can’t afford to miss.
The-Party is perfect for anyone who loves games. All participants bring their own computer and they come to play with or against each other. Through our various tournaments it is decided who the best gamers of the moment are. Besides these tournaments there is also a small expo and you can win fantastic prizes through podium activities. We also organise cosplay contests and show you a way of gaming that you’ve never seen before. A party for everyone!
Victory LAN is a gaming event in Belgium. The goal of this event is to give visitors the feeling that they’re at an old-school LAN party. During this event, there are various competitions that visitors can participate in and there’s a Challenge Zone. In the Challenge Zone you can earn flags by completing challenges. Beter results give you more flags. These flags can be traded for prizes or used as lottery tickets for one of the bigger prizes. Due to the combination of competitions and activities, this event is great for both competitive gamers as well as friend groups who just want to enjoy a nice weekend filled with gaming.
Other events
Below you will find an overview of our eventsportfolio. Besides a variety of self organised events we are also ready to help you at one of your events. One of our biggest old projects besides CampZone, The-Party and Victory, is Intel Pack4DreamHack. From 2009 until and including 2016 we, commissioned by Intel, transported professional gamers, content creators and recreational gamers from the Benelux to Dreamhack in Sweden twice a year, the biggest PC gaming event in the world. In 2018 we, together with Tweakers, organised Tweakers Gaming Live. Esports, expo and LAN were keywords during this events. Furthermore, we helped create televisionprograms like Dutch College league. Since 2019 we also organise the yearly ‘IndigoX’, a platform for designers, publishers and investors to meet each other.
