A small scale tournament at an exhibition stand, a LAN party tournament with hundreds of participants who bring their own computer or a large esports tournament with a variety of games on a large stage. It doesn’t matter which kind of gaming tournament it is, Duh-Events knows how to handle it. Thanks to a team of experienced tournament admins, supported by an ex-pro gamer and a certified esports referee, we take every type of tournament seriously and aim to create the most exciting gaming finals possible.
Besides our knowledge of games, our team is specialised in creating rules, we have a broad knowledge of computers to help solve problems on the go and we are used to new challenges. Outside the box tournaments like ‘Real Life Duck Hunt’ and ‘Real Life Pong’ on a grass field, Beat Saber using virtual reality glasses and an ‘Ultimate Allround gamer’ competition with fifteen games we can all organise without any problems. The joy and excitement of the competitive player is our focus at these events.
Diverse online tournament systems, which are used for creating tournament brackets, have already requested our knowledge and feedback. Besides that, we also advise ‘normal’ non-gaming related tournament organisers. We give advice about regulations, fair play and how a tournament should be set up. For every aspect of gaming tournament organisation, we have someone specialised in it.
Esports is the collective name for playing games competitively. Although there are countless games with a multiplayer mode, there are only a select number of games that are picked up as esports worthy games. Duh-Events has the knowledge to create both ‘fun competitions’ and esports tournaments and organises every tournament using professional methods. This way we change small scale tournaments at an exhibition stand or a launch tournament for a new game into a cosy yet exciting experience, which gives the winner a reason to feel pride when they go home with their prize.
On our esports page you can read more about our experience.
During our own events, our team of tournament admins works closely together with our other teams, this way our events become a completely worthwhile experience. We also communicate directly with CampZone’s activity team to improve the tournament structure of activities like archery tag and soap soccer. These cooperations have created a variety of outside the box ideas like the Ultimate Allround Gamer. During this challenge, we pay a maximum of fifteen of the most original games in which a high score can be achieved. The overall winner will be crowned as the best gamer of the event and goes home with a big prize.
This concept shows the creative side of our team, one which shows when we host a tournament of ‘Real Life Duck Hunt’ or ‘Real Life Pong’, complete with gigantic truss construction and interactive sensors. Of what about playing a racing game from within a Tesla? Our team is a jack-of-all-trades.
Do you organise an event? Maybe it falls within our expertise. It doesn’t matter whether it is an exhibition stand, the launch of a new game, a fun Saturday afternoon at a sports club or something completely different; for gaming tournaments, you can always rely on us. We are capable of taking care of computers/consoles and additional equipment, as well as tournament support. It is, of course, also possible to find a connection between your tournament and one of our own events. We look forward to working with you!
